Before you book
Private aircraft at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport park at a fixed-base operator (FBO), and the airport has more than one. The chauffeur waits at the FBO you name, at the entrance or in the lobby, and follows that FBO rules on whether a vehicle may come to the aircraft. Add the FBO name, the tail number and the estimated arrival time from your operator to the booking notes.
A private departure can leave early or wait for a passenger. The online form needs 90 minutes before pickup; after that, changes go through dispatch by phone or WhatsApp. Send the new estimated arrival as soon as your operator gives it, and the pickup is moved while the vehicle is free. If the day continues with meetings, book the car by the hour instead of a single transfer.
Count everyone who rides from the FBO, including crew if they come along, and every bag. A luxury sedan suits one to three passengers with light bags, a Cadillac Escalade ESV takes more luggage, and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter keeps a larger party in one vehicle. One vehicle for the whole party is usually simpler than two cars arriving at different times.
For a departure, give the FBO name and the time your operator wants passengers on site. Pickup is planned backwards from that time with a margin for I-95 and the causeways, which slow down at rush hour and on event nights. Tell dispatch about extra stops on the way, such as a second pickup address.
