Miami Beach is three different trips in one city. South Beach, from South Pointe up through Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road, is dense, walkable and busy at night. Mid-Beach along Collins Avenue is the stretch of large resort hotels, and North Beach is quieter and residential. Sunset Harbour on the bay side is where many locals go for dinner.
From South Beach the MacArthur Causeway runs straight to PortMiami and downtown, while Mid-Beach guests usually reach MIA over the Julia Tuttle Causeway. We pick the causeway for the time of day, so the same address can take a different route at 7 am and at 6 pm.
Most Collins Avenue hotels have a valet driveway, and the chauffeur waits there or at the nearest spot where a car can legally stop. On busy nights around Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road the chauffeur may suggest a meeting point one block away and send it to you by message, which is faster than circling the block.
Miami Beach to PortMiami takes about 20 minutes over the MacArthur Causeway, which makes the beach a popular place to stay before a cruise. Give us your terminal from the cruise documents. When you come back, the chauffeur waits up to 90 minutes for free while you collect luggage.
For dinners and clubs an hourly plan keeps one car and one chauffeur with you, two hours minimum, from $142 an hour. Point-to-point rides start with Sedan from $137 or SUV from $137, per vehicle. During Art Basel week in December and on holiday weekends the causeways fill up, so book a day ahead.
