FXE is a private aviation airport, so name the FBO
Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport sits inside the city of Fort Lauderdale, about five miles north of downtown, and serves private, charter and business aircraft. Passengers step off at an FBO, not at an airline terminal, and the airport has several of them. Put the FBO name, the tail number and the estimated arrival in the booking notes. The chauffeur waits at that FBO entrance or lobby and follows its rules on vehicle access.
North Broward and Boca Raton are close
From FXE the drive north to Pompano Beach is usually 15-25 minutes and to Boca Raton 25-40 minutes, so a jet into FXE suits a stay in Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach or Boca Raton. Las Olas and the beach hotels on A1A are 15-30 minutes south. Tell dispatch the hotel or the street address and any second stop, such as a marina or an office, before you land.
A cruise, an airline connection or a day of meetings
Port Everglades and FLL are both about 20-30 minutes south of FXE. If the jet lands before a sailing, give the ship and the terminal from the cruise line so the drop-off goes to the right curb. If part of the party continues on an airline flight from FLL, book that leg separately with the flight time. When the arrival day continues with meetings, keep the car by the hour instead of booking single rides.
Match the vehicle to passengers, crew and bags
Count everyone who rides from the FBO, including crew if they come along, and every suitcase, golf bag or case. A luxury sedan takes one to three passengers with two or three bags, a Cadillac Escalade ESV up to six passengers with five to seven bags, and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter up to 14 passengers with 12-16 bags. One vehicle for the whole party is simpler than two cars arriving at different times.

Where does the chauffeur meet us at FXE?
At the FBO (private terminal) you name in the booking. Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport has several FBOs, among them Banyan Air Service, Signature Aviation, Atlantic Aviation and W Aviation, and each one has its own entrance, lobby and rules on whether a vehicle may drive to the aircraft. The chauffeur follows those rules and otherwise waits at the FBO entrance or in the lobby.
What should I put in the booking for an FXE arrival?
The FBO name, the tail number, the estimated arrival time from your operator, the number of passengers and bags, and the destination address. Write the FBO and the tail number in the booking notes so dispatch knows which entrance to use.
What if the jet lands earlier or later than planned?
Private schedules move. Send the new time to dispatch by phone or WhatsApp as soon as your operator gives it, and the pickup is moved while the vehicle is free. The online form needs 90 minutes before pickup, so later changes go through dispatch, which answers 24/7.
How long is the drive from FXE?
FXE is on the north side of Fort Lauderdale, about five miles from downtown. Usually 15-25 minutes to Las Olas or Pompano Beach, 20-30 minutes to the beach hotels on A1A, Port Everglades or Fort Lauderdale airport (FLL), 25-40 minutes to Boca Raton and 50-70 minutes to Miami Beach or Brickell, depending on traffic on I-95.

No. FXE is a general aviation airport for private and charter aircraft, north of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Airline flights use Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL), south of downtown, about 20-30 minutes away by car. If one part of your party flies privately and another on an airline, book a separate pickup at each airport.
Can you take us to FXE for a departure?
Yes. Give the FBO name and the time your operator wants passengers on site. Pickup from the hotel, home or office is planned backwards from that time with a margin for traffic on I-95 and around Las Olas.
