Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport often has different fares and nonstop routes than MIA, and the terminals are compact. Brickell is dense: hotels, condo towers and office buildings share short blocks and one-way streets, and Brickell Key has its own bridge. If the flight lands before meetings in Brickell or Downtown, book the car by the hour instead of a single transfer. Departures from Brickell to FLL
For the trip back, weekday afternoons on I-95 northbound are the slowest part of the route.
