Atlantic Avenue, the beach and west Delray
Downtown Delray runs along Atlantic Avenue from I-95 to the ocean, with Pineapple Grove just north of it. Gated communities west of the Turnpike can add a quarter of an hour to an airport ride. Put the gate name and any visitor code in the booking comment so the chauffeur is not held at the entrance.
DJT (ex PBI) or FLL from Delray Beach
DJT, the former PBI, is the shorter drive and has a compact terminal with a quick walk to the curb. FLL is farther but often has more nonstop and international flights. Pick the airport that fits the ticket; the chauffeur tracks the flight number at either one and waits if the landing is late.
Cruise departures from Delray Beach
Most Delray guests sail from Port Everglades, which is closer than PortMiami by about twenty miles. Morning traffic on I-95 through Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach is heavy on weekdays, so leave early enough to reach the terminal inside the boarding window printed in the cruise documents.

Fort Lauderdale airport (FLL) is about 32 miles south, normally 40-55 minutes, and Miami International (MIA) is about 57 miles, often well over an hour on I-95.
How much is a car from Delray Beach to the airport?
